All our candidates are screened for specific positions as directed by our clients, and evaluated through our focused selection process. Key components of our selection process include:
Every candidate must provide two forms of verified identification.
Every candidate signs off on Flex-Team’s:
- No Weapons Policy
- No Cell Phone Policy
- Required understanding of, and agreement to, our handbook containing general work rules
Flex-Team recruiters are trained to ask specific questions about a candidate’s work history and general background to ensure an accurate picture of the candidate’s potential to perform well on future job assignments. We carefully screen each candidate to determine:
- Work history
- Skills and Experience
- Attitudes and work personality
- Skills Assessment
Flex-Team has a wide range of proven skills tests available in order to assure that each candidate is the appropriate choice for the open position. Once we know the testing requirements for a client’s position, we offer options to meet those requirements. In addition, we will administer tests that our clients have developed for their own direct hiring processes.
At Flex-Team, we maintain high standards at every stage of the staffing process. When a candidate reaches this third level of our screening/selection process, we review the potential job assignment with him/her to verify that there is a great match between the candidate and the client’s expectation for employees. The “Jobs Review” is a critical part of the process for both temporary assignments and temp-to-hire situations.
Background Check and Drug Screen
We care about your business’ safety and security. To ensure that only safe and productive temporary and temporary-to-hire employees arrive at your work site, every Flex-Team candidate is subject to:
- A criminal background check
- Our Flex-Team-created integrity test
- Drug screening to assure a safe and productive temporary employee shows up for work
Assignment and Orientation
When Flex-Team offers a great-fit candidate the job assignment, and it’s accepted, we follow through with a detailed orientation including:
- A full and accurate job description
- A review of the client-specific work rules
- Information regarding where to report and when and with whom to check-in
- A workplace safety review
