At Flex-Team, we’ve spent more than 30 years developing relationships with local light industrial manufacturing clients and office admin clients in the Akron-Canton region. It’s also good business for us – our many business partners are having a rough time recruiting ready-and-able workers and are relying on Flex-Team more and more to keep their crew levels at 100% operating levels.
It also means we have to “step up our game,” consistently and continually recruiting new employees who we can then place at job sites as-needed. We recruit new associates via many strategies: our website’s Jobs page, Facebook, the newspaper, job fairs, hiring events at the office, word-of-mouth from our employees, public transportation, Indeed and CareerBuilder. These are all effective and we’re constantly meeting, interviewing and signing-up new hires, but we are always looking for more good women and men who are ready to work and earn money for themselves and their families.

4 – Opportunities to “test the waters” at a new company and job via Temp-to-Hire placements. For many of our employees, this is the best part of being a Flex-Team member. Our temp-to-hire service allows both the hiring company and the employee being considered to “try out” each other before becoming a permanent employee. Sometimes an individual learns that what sounded like a great job position isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. They decide to try someplace or something else work-wise. In a temp-to-hire scenario, both the employee and the employer get the opportunity to work together for a stated amount of time before a permanent hiring occurs.
